Aftershave Preparations - How to make a Herbal Aftershave Balm

Aftershave preparations are generally applied only to the face. It is a lotion, gel or liquid used mainly by men, after they have finished shaving. It may contain an antiseptic agent such as alcohol to prevent infection from cuts as well as numb damaged skin, a perfume to enhance scent, and a moisturizer to soften the skin.

An aftershave recipe is easy to make, that soothe any man's skin. The ingredients that are needed in the preparation of aftershave recipe are as: 3 tablespoons witch hazel, 5 tablespoons cider vinegar, 5 tablespoons orange flower water, 15 drops bergamot essential/fragrance oil, 10 drops lemon essential/fragrance oil and 8 drops neroli essential/fragrance oil. Combine all the ingredients into a bottle, shake well and store in a cool dark area.

For Men: After Shave Balm - Lightly scented, a balm helps soothe razor burn and keeps your skin feeling cool and hydrated. Recommended for sensitive, normal and dry skins.

For Men: After Shave Lotion - Can be used alone or before applying your fragrance. Acting like a toner, an after shave lotion helps prepare your skin for an ultimate fragrance experience.

Tips: For dry skin, add 1 to 2 tbsp. almond oil or glycerin. Add about 3 oz. eucalyptus leaves, or 3 oz. peppermint leaves, to acquire a mentholated scent.
